It does not matter how many domains you have. You should only have 1 host name for your MX record, and therefore, only 1 certificate. It won't affect your reputation. For example, every company that uses Google's GSuite to handle their email the MX record points to alt1.aspmx.l.google.com (or similar). This way, Google has to purchase only one certificate that will handle every domain.
