Hi, let me put this in context date is 2/10/17 running community edition in trial mode installed last weekend

my setup under message retention

good messages -1 days

junk 90 days

possible junk 90 days

message cache days 3

when i view all good messages i can see as far back as 29/8/17 (message cache working as expected)

i have received a request to restore some emails trapped from the 28/9/17 - but they dont show (do i search using the date picker or the number of days to search for field or do i use both?)

is there a bug in the search functionality as it certainly dosent appear to function correctly

The value for "Message Cache Days" define the number of days of data to display without searching. Since that value is set to 3, you will only see 3 days worth of emails without searching. In order to search for earlier emails, you must specify a date range and a search criteria.
