Hi, let me put this in context date is 2/10/17 running community edition in trial mode installed last weekend
my setup under message retention good messages -1 days junk 90 days possible junk 90 days message cache days 3
when i view all good messages i can see as far back as 29/8/17 (message cache working as expected)
i have received a request to restore some emails trapped from the 28/9/17 - but they dont show (do i search using the date picker or the number of days to search for field or do i use both?)
is there a bug in the search functionality as it certainly dosent appear to function correctly |

The value for "Message Cache Days" define the number of days of data to display without searching. Since that value is set to 3, you will only see 3 days worth of emails without searching. In order to search for earlier emails, you must specify a date range and a search criteria.
