After upgrading from Version 6.9 build 6064 to Version 7.0 build 6082, the Xeams Live Monitor shows a constant stream of emails from garbage@asdf.com to someone@asdf.com. We searched the forums for this error and found a few references. We tried those solutions but the stream does not stop. We also stopped Xeams, reinstalled over the existing installation, then rebooted, and have the same problem. Next step would be a reinstall of older version. Does anyone have suggestions? |

What you're seeing is done for debugging purposes and happens when you have a Live Monitor screen up while Xeams is being restarted. The messages you see are fake. Ensure none of your browsers are in the Live Monitor screen and then restart Xeams. That should take care of the issue. |

I believe that this is a bug in the Smart Host processing code. Here is how we can replicate the problem: 1. We configure a Smart Host using STARTTLS on port 587. 2. Restart Xeams (no browser open on Live Monitor) Now the server will be showing the Live Monitor debug loop (garbage@asdf.com emails forever). It will also be impossible to return to the Smart Host configuration page - it will be blank. We can only stop the error by manually editing /opt/Xeams/config/smartHosts.dat to remove the Smart Host, then restarting Xeams. Please investigate (we replicated this condition repeatedly on server version from 6.3.5972 to 7.0.6082). | |

Agusta, Could you please contact us via email. We will have to do a remote screen share session to see this. |
