Let's say I am looking for messages from alibaba. Entering "ali" as the search string will not yield any results. I have to enter "alibaba" for the messages to be found.
I'm wondering why you chose to do it this way. Implementing a substring search would make more sense IMHO.

Oliver, Searches in Xeams are indexed to make them faster. As a result, only entire words are indexed. Partial words cannot be indexed and if Xeams did that it would take very long to search. Therefore, following rules apply when searching for sender/recipient.
