Moving files

Starting from v5.6, Xeams will move files from their original folder to the appropriate folder. For example, if an administrator marks a message that was originally in the Good messages to Spam, Xeams will move the message to the Spam Folder.

This will only work if Xeams is running in Firewall mode. It will not work in Hybrid or Stand-alone modes. This is because the message repository also serves as a repository for IMAP and POP3 servers. This means more than one user may be pointing to one email and moving files can corrupt the repositories for IMAP and POP3 servers.

If you want to move the rules also, then the File Structure can answer a few questions: http://www.xeams.com/filestructure.htm
