Next steps for Smtp Gateway

Once Synametrics Smtp Gateway has been installed, a built-in web server will listen on port 5050. To connect from the local machine type the following URL in your browser.

http://localhost:5050

Use the following values for user id and password to connect to the server the first time.

User ID: admin
Password: letmein

The next screen will ask you to change the password for the admin account.

Configuration

To configure values in the server, click the Configuration link on the upper right hand corner. Since the administration is done using a web interface, a tip appears next to every configuration parameter explaining its purpose.
