Testing if the server is receiving and sending emails.
The best way to test if Xeams is working correctly is to send and receive an email from the Internet.Testing for in-coming message
Follow the steps below to test an in-coming message.- Try sending an email from a public server, such as GMail, Yahoo Mail or Hotmail
- Refer to this document if you do not see the message in your Inbox
Testing for out-going message
Follow the steps below to test an out-going message.- Use an email client such as MS Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird to send an email to an address on the Internet. Ensure the SMTP server in your email client is set to Xeams server.
- Refer to this document for common problems related to out-bound emails.
