We are having problems sending email via our supplier using smart host as Xeams is not issuing a QUIT command at the end of the transaction.

Is this something we have the ability to change? Our server is 'Ratelimiting' us - this is their response: "

The issue is that the mail server is not following RFC standards and is not issuing a QUIT command where it should, therefore our mail server is seeing more and more connections without a quit command being issued (or the connection timing out) therefore the server will then prevent further connections from being made.
