Does it matter if the JRE (8.151.2.1) is installed in a different storage pool?

I had it that way and I ran into same problem as described by others above. No browser contact. (There was a message "JRE QPKG not installed" while installing Xeams. It was however declared as "installed and ready to use" at the end of installation.

Stopping the app does not succeed - it returns to a status where the blue "Open" choice is available.

Removal of the app fails.

Migrating the JRE QPKG to the same storage pool was no remedy (will see tomorrow when the NAS has restarted if a restart rectified the situation).

(Previous entry in the thread suggests there might be something more to do to tidy up?)

The QNAP is a TS-832X.
