Good morning all,

I have a few question regarding the configuration of Xeams:

  • Where I can find the installation folder/config files path in a QNAP package installation?
  • Is it possible to allow only specific outbound domains? I've found only accepted domains for internals, but not for externals.
  • Is it possible to deactivate the "user creation account" in the main page?

  1. This is usually set to /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/Xeams. The value CACHEDEV1_DATA could be different on your end.
  2. Do you want to limit the sender or the recipient of these emails? You cannot restrict the recipients but senders can be restricted by using either SMTP Authentication or by specifying the sender's domain for relaying.

    Usually, the recipients are not restricted for outbound. If that's what you mean, can you please explain the use case explaining why you want to do that.

  3. What do you mean by "Deactivating"? You can certainly delete the user's account or change their password so they cannot send outbound emails. Is your end-goal to prevent them from sending outbound messages?
