Greetings programs. I understand associated emails are used for multiple emails for a single user (from the Xeams costs page), but do these associated mails share the same mailbox? I set up email for jondoe@junkmail.com, and jdoe@junkmail.com is associated to it. Are these two separate accounts when I set up the mail client (Thunderbird, Outlook, whatever)? Or does everything go to jondoe? Based on what I read on email alias on Wikipedia, I'm guessing "associated" is equivalent to "alias", and it's one mailbox under jondoe, is this correct?
Cheers. |

Associated emails in Xeams share the same mailbox. This is a way of letting Xeams know that jondoe@junkmail.com and jdoe@junkmail.com have two addresses for the same person. When you connect from Thunderbird, Outlook, etc, you will connect to one account and will get messages for both email addresses. |
