Hello,
I installed Xmas (Version 7.4, Build 6137), on a QNAP (TS-453Be) and cannot get an SSL certificate.
I configured port 80 as the explanatory video indicates, however the following message appears "Although Xeams is configured to listen on port 80, the server is not listening. Make sure to restart Xeams after changing to port. Additionally, ensure no other process is listening on this port. "
And I could not continue with the following steps.
Needless to say, I enabled port 80 in Xmeas
Has anyone been able to obtain a certificate?

Do you know if any other HTTP server listens on port 80? Check Xeams.log and look for errors. The file should be in /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/Xeams/logs folder. You would get JVM_BIND errors in the log if another HTTP server is listening on port 80. Paste the contents of your log if that is not the case.

An SSL certificate has nothing to do with your IP address getting blacklisted. In fact, your certificate is not even in use when sending outbound emails. Most servers on the Internet will reject your email if it comes from a dynamic IP address. You must get a static IP address if your goal is to send outbound emails. Another alternative is to get a VPS server, such as Amazon Lightsail, which will cost you about $3.50/month and you will get a static IP address. You can route your emails through that machine. |

thanks for the reply. Solve the problem with a "smart host" (socketlabs), but as I go along I get new problems. Now, for some reason my server no longer receives emails. I can send without problems, but now there are no entry logs, I don't see them in "live log" (before I saw them without problems). I think the problem is with the router (arris). To rule out the QNAP problem, install the server on another PC and the same thing happens. can you guide me to find the solution?
qnap port or router to check ?? .. any settings on freedns.org ?? any blacklist of domains?

I solved the problems. In the router the port 25 was "block" - i used free dns (https://freedns.afraid.org/) for my domains - And the problem with "spamhaus" was solved with a "smart host" (https://www.socketlabs.com/). and configure it in Xeams - In the router I open ther ports 25, 110 and 587
