It appears you are using the installer for Xeams that comes with QNAP and makes Xeams run inside a container. There are several problems with running Xeams inside a container:

• Several ports are blocked - meaning if you want to configure Xeams to listen on a different port, you will have to configure the container.
• The biggest problem with the container is that every email coming into Xeams will appear to come from one IP. In other words, the actual IP where a message was sent from will be hidden. As a result, about 40% of filtering rules will not work. The 40% filters I am referring to inspect the IP address of the connecting SMTP server.

A better QNAP package is the one you can download from our site. This package will not run Xeams inside a container and therefore, won't have the problems I mentioned above.
