Cost Associated with Using AI-Based Filtering
Due to the high processing requirements involved in using AI-based filtering, additional cost is involved. This page discusses how this cost structure works.
Actual Cost
Per email cost for using the AI filter is $0.005/email. In other words, around 2,000 emails will cost around $10.
Reducing Cost
The cost associated with utilizing an AI filter can be reduced by:
- Changing the filtering score thresholds. Before using the AI filters, Xeams will run incoming emails through its traditional rule-based engine to assign a score, and will only use the AI filter if that score falls within a specified low and high threshold. Configuring this threshold will result in using fewer messages through the AI filter.
- Disabling AI filtering for specific profiles.
- Assigning a monthly cap for the AI filter.
Purchasing Credits
You must purchase AI credits in Xeams before using this filter. Xeams will not use the AI filter once you run out of these credits. Use the following steps to purchase credits:
- Log in as the administrator.
- Click Filter Management > AI Filter
- Click the button for Global Configuration
- Click the link for Add Credit
- If you use a credit card to purchase a license for Xeams, the same card can be used to buy AI credits. Using a credit card is the fastest and easiest way, and therefore, is the recommended method. You can also purchase credit by contacting Synametrics sales.
Trial Credits
When you first enable the AI filter, you will get a one-time credit of 1,000 emails.
